Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Murchison Falls National Park

From a lodging facility in Kampala, your Uganda safari guide will pick you up for a transfer to Entebbe Aiport, you will fly from Entebbe Airport to Murchison Falls National Park located in north-western Uganda. (Flying Aerolink Uganda)
On arrival you will undertake a game drive as you drive to your Lodge. The park through which the River Nile flows provides one of Uganda’s most remarkable wildlife spectacles and remains Uganda’s largest National Park. In the afternoon you will have another game drive.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Safari

After breakfast you will have a game drive while in the afternoon you will take a boat ride on the River Nile to Murchison falls, from which the National Park derives its name. Here, you will enjoy the spectacular waterfall where the Nile squeezes through a 7 meter wide gap and plunges 45m over a rift valley gorge and at the bottom bask huge Nile crocodiles.

Day 3: Fly to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast you will fly over the equator to the world-famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. Lying in the Rift valley, the park has a diverse array of ecosystems which include Savanna, Tropical Forests, lakes and wetlands making it a prime home to big game, ten primate species and over 600 Species of Birds.
Depending on your arrival time in the National Park you will have a game drive in the afternoon

Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Safari

You will start the day with an exciting morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. It has the greatest bio-diversity of plants and animals with a landscape consisting of open savannah, rainforest, dense papyrus swamps, crater lakes and the incredibly wide Lake Edward.
In the afternoon you will go for a wonderful Launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel with its banks lined with hippos, buffaloes and elephants.

Day 5: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On this day, We transfer on a road drive through the ishasha sector popular for tree-climbing lions to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain Forest also attracts spectacular birds and chimpanzees. You have an option of taking a stroll through the unique landscape of this national park. Alternatively, walk to a village of the indigenous Batwa pygmies or enjoy a nature walk to Munyaga waterfall, this charming waterfall is located in the heart of Bwindi forest. You should have a good night’s sleep so you can be fit the following day and well rested for gorilla trekking.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking

You will get up early to prepare for the gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. As an alternative to gorilla trekking, there are several walks that can take you. The Mubwindi Swamp Trail takes about 3 hours and goes through parts of the park where there are elephants. Another 6-hour hike leads up to the peak in Rwamunyoni to 2.607m.

Day 7: Fly from Bwindi to Entebbe

You will fly from the beautiful Bwindi National Park to Entebbe (Entebbe Airport) to either connect to your departure flight home or we can drop you off at your own booked accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala
