Overview

This 5 Day Safari begins with a journey to the lush rainforests of Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of East Africa, Kibale is home to over 13 species of primates, with the highlight being chimpanzee tracking. Guided by expert rangers, you trek through dense forest trails, listening for rustling leaves and distant calls until you come face-to-face with these intelligent and playful creatures in their natural habitat—a truly humbling and exhilarating experience. After the forest adventure, you retreat to Rubalika Safari Lodge, nestled in the scenic countryside. The lodge offers not only comfort and panoramic views but also access to enriching cultural tours. You engage with local communities, learn traditional crafts, and witness vibrant dances and storytelling that reveal the region’s heritage and way of life. From Rubalika, the journey continues south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most diverse wildlife reserve. Stretching from the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains to the shores of Lake Edward, the park offers classic savannah game drives where you spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, and antelopes roaming freely. A boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel brings you up close to hippos, crocodiles, and a dazzling array of birdlife. The park’s varied ecosystems—from crater lakes to wetlands—make every moment a discovery.
